1. Who provides this site
This website is operated by TQC Accreditation, Am Bahnhof Westend 9, 14059 Berlin, Germany. Contact: info@tqcaccreditation.org.
2. What the site is for
The site provides information about accreditation by TQC, the criteria that apply, and a public means of checking certificates we have issued. It is offered for information and for the legitimate verification of certificates.
3. The register and verification results
A verification result reflects the state of our register at the moment of the search. Status can change — an accreditation may be suspended or withdrawn between one search and the next — so a result should not be treated as a permanent guarantee of continuing validity. Where a decision of consequence turns on a certificate, request a written verification statement from the office.
A verification result confirms only what it states: the existence, scope and status of an accreditation on our register. It is not an endorsement of any product, service, organisation or person, and it does not attest to matters outside the accredited scope.
Automated or bulk querying of the verification service is not permitted. The service is provided for checking certificates you have a legitimate reason to check.
4. Accuracy
We take care that the information here is correct and current, but the site is provided without warranty that it is complete, uninterrupted or error-free. Criteria documents and rules issued by the office prevail over any summary of them on this site.
5. Use of the TQC name and mark
The TQC name, the TQC seal and the accreditation mark are ours. They may be used only by bodies holding a current accreditation, within the terms of the rules for the use of the mark, and only in connection with activities inside the accredited scope. Any other use — including use by a body that is not accredited, use after suspension or withdrawal, and application of the mark to a product — is prohibited and will be pursued.
If you have seen the mark used by an organisation that does not appear in the register, please tell us.
6. Links to other sites
Where we link to a site we do not control, we are not responsible for its content and a link is not an endorsement.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
8. Complaints and appeals
Complaints about our services, and appeals against accreditation decisions, are handled under the published procedures rather than under these terms. See the documents page or write to the office marking your message as a complaint or an appeal.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by German law, and the courts of Berlin have jurisdiction, save where mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
